Key Requirements for a Sponsor Licence

To apply for a sponsor licence, you’ll need to provide several key documents and meet financial requirements:

1. Latest audited annual accounts
2. Employer’s liability insurance certificate
3. Certificate of VAT registration
4. Latest corporate bank account statement
5. HMRC registration evidence

Application Fees

1. Small Business/Charity: £536
2. Large Organisation: £1,476
3. Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS): £239 per worker
4. Immigration Skills Charge: £1,000 per year per worker (reduced rate of £364 for smaller companies)
5. Compliance: Appoint suitable key personnel and ensure ongoing adherence to sponsor duties.

The standard processing time for a sponsor licence application is approximately six weeks, but for a fee of £500, a priority service is available, offering a decision within ten working days, subject to availability.
